Gallup Field Office

The New Mexico Department of Veterans’ Services (NMDVS) will re-open a field office in Gallup on March 8 to assist veterans and their families with their VA or state veterans benefits needs.

The office is in room 1A on the main floor of the Ford Canyon Senior Center, located at 908 East Buena Vista Avenue.

NMDVS Veterans’ Service Officer Tyrra Saavedra will be available from 8:30am-4:30pm on the following limited schedule:

  • March 8-10, 22-24
  • April 5-7, 26-28
  • May 10-1, 24-2
  • June 7-9, 21-23
  • July 12-14, 26-28
  • August 9-11, 23-25
  • September 13-15, 27-29
  • October 11-13, 25-27
  • November 8-10, 21-23, 28-30th
  • December 13-15, 27-29

 

As with all seventeen NMDVS field offices statewide, walk-ins are welcome at the new Gallup office—but veterans or their dependents are strongly encouraged to schedule an appointment by contacting Tyrra Saavedra at tyrra.saavedra@state.nm.us or (505) 287-8387.
