EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE FOR VETERANS

“The New Mexico Department of Veterans’s Services works with local federal, state and local agencies to help unemployed veterans find jobs.”

The New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions has a division specifically dedicated to helping veterans find employment. Members of the New Mexico National Guard or any of the Armed Forces Reserve Units can also get assistance from the Employment Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). More information can be found on their website or phone (505) 271-7117.

Guard or Reserve Unit members can also contact the Hero2Hired Program for employment assistance with military-friendly companies.
